RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thank you for choosing SS Creation Books.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made by verified schools, preschools and educational institutions through an authorized SS Creation School Account or through an order/quotation confirmed by SS Creation Books.

Because SS Creation Books operates primarily as a B2B educational solutions provider, our return and refund terms are designed specifically for school orders.

Different terms apply to:

  1. Pre-School Books

  2. Customized Pre-School Kits

  3. Complete School Growth Plan

1. SCHOOL-ONLY RETURN & REFUND POLICY

SS Creation Books provides school-focused products and services exclusively to verified schools, preschools and educational institutions.

Returns and refunds under this policy are applicable only to eligible school orders placed through an authorized School Account or confirmed institutional order.

Individual parents or consumers are not eligible to purchase school-only products through the SS Creation online ordering system.

2. PRE-SCHOOL BOOKS — SPECIAL SCHOOL RETURN FACILITY

SS Creation Books provides schools with a limited unsold-book return facility for standard, non-customized Pre-School Books.

This facility allows a school to order books in advance according to its expected student strength and return eligible unsold books within the permitted return period.

Example:

A school purchases:

20 Pre-School Books

During the academic period, the school sells/distributes:

15 Books

The school may return the remaining:

5 Unsold Books

provided that all return conditions under this policy are satisfied.

3. THREE-MONTH RETURN WINDOW

Eligible unsold standard Pre-School Books may be returned within 3 months from the date of delivery of the respective order.

The school must initiate the return request through its authorized School Account within this 3-month period.

Important:

The return period begins from the delivery date of the order, not from the date on which individual books are sold or distributed.

Once the two-month return period has expired, the school will generally no longer be eligible to return unsold books under this facility.

4. HOW UNSOLD BOOK RETURNS WORK

The school can initiate the return directly through its authorized School Account.

This facility is intended to help schools manage their academic book requirements with greater flexibility.

5. ELIGIBILITY OF UNSOLD BOOKS

For an unsold Pre-School Book to qualify for return, it must generally be:

  • Unused

  • Unmarked

  • Unwritten

  • Undamaged

  • Complete

  • In resalable condition

  • Free from school-specific customization

  • In its original condition and packaging where applicable

Books containing writing, stamps, labels, stickers, school markings or other alterations may not be eligible for return.

SS Creation Books reserves the right to inspect returned books before approving the return.

6. PARTIAL RETURNS ARE ALLOWED

Schools do not need to return the entire order.

Eligible schools may return only the unsold quantity.

Example 1:

20 Books Ordered
15 Books Sold/Distributed
5 Books Unsold

→ 5 Books may be returned

Example 2:

50 Books Ordered
42 Books Sold/Distributed
8 Books Unsold

→ 8 Books may be returned

Example 3:

100 Books Ordered
70 Books Sold/Distributed
30 Books Unsold

→ 30 Books may be returned

The return quantity must not exceed the eligible unused quantity from the applicable order.

7. RETURN REQUEST THROUGH SCHOOL ACCOUNT

Eligible schools must initiate the return request through their authorized SS Creation School Account.

The return request may require:

  • Order Number

  • Product/Book Name

  • Quantity Originally Ordered

  • Quantity Being Returned

  • Reason for Return

  • Photographs or other information where requested

The online account may show the applicable return eligibility based on the order date and product.

SS Creation Books may review and approve the return before the school sends the books back.

8. RETURN APPROVAL & INSPECTION

Submitting a return request does not automatically guarantee approval.

SS Creation Books may inspect the returned books to verify:

  • Quantity

  • Condition

  • Product

  • Order details

  • Eligibility

  • Return period

If the returned books do not meet the applicable conditions, SS Creation Books may reject the return or adjust the eligible refund/credit accordingly.

9. REFUND FOR ELIGIBLE UNSOLD BOOKS

Once the returned books have been received and verified, SS Creation Books may process the applicable refund or account credit.

The refund will generally be based on the actual amount paid for the returned books, after taking into account any applicable school-specific discount, coupon or promotional pricing.

Discount or coupon values are not refundable separately as cash.

Where applicable, the refund may be provided through:

  • Original payment method; or

  • School Account credit; or

  • Another method agreed by SS Creation Books.

10. SCHOOL-SPECIFIC DISCOUNTS & RETURNED BOOKS

If a school purchased books using a school-specific discount or coupon code, the refund for returned books will be calculated based on the actual discounted amount paid.

Example:

If the listed price of a book is ₹100 and the school received a 10% school discount, the applicable refund will generally be calculated using the actual amount paid, rather than the original listed price.

SS Creation Books may also adjust the refund if the return affects a quantity-based discount or other promotional pricing applied to the original order.

11. RETURN SHIPPING / COLLECTION

The applicable return shipping or collection arrangement will be communicated to the school at the time the return request is approved.

Depending on the reason for return:

  • SS Creation Books may arrange collection; or

  • The school may be required to send the eligible books back; or

  • Return shipping may be handled according to the applicable order terms.

Where a return is requested solely because the books remain unsold, any applicable return shipping or collection charges may be deducted from the refund or communicated separately.

Where the return is due to an SS Creation Books fulfillment or manufacturing error, the applicable return arrangement will be determined after verification.

12. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRE-SCHOOL BOOKS

Apart from the unsold-book return facility, a school may contact SS Creation Books if it receives:

  • Damaged books

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Incorrect books

  • Incorrect quantities

  • Materially incorrect products

The school should notify SS Creation Books promptly after receiving the order.

Photographs, videos, packaging information and other evidence may be requested.

After verification, SS Creation Books may arrange:

  • Replacement

  • Missing quantity

  • Refund

  • Account credit

  • Another appropriate resolution

13. CHANGE OF REQUIREMENT — PRE-SCHOOL BOOKS

The special two-month unsold-book return facility is intended to address normal school inventory requirements.

However, schools should carefully review their:

  • Class

  • Subject

  • Book

  • Quantity

before placing an order.

A return request outside the two-month return window will generally not be accepted merely because the school later changes its academic programme or requirements.

14. CUSTOMIZED PRE-SCHOOL KITS — RETURNS

Customized Pre-School Kits are produced specifically for individual schools.

Because these kits may contain school-specific:

  • School Name

  • School Logo

  • Book Covers

  • Student Folders

  • ID Cards

  • Diaries

  • Name Slips

  • Other customized materials

they are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once customization or production has commenced.

This includes situations where:

  • Student strength changes

  • The school has fewer students than expected

  • The school changes its academic programme

  • The school changes its branding

  • The school no longer requires the kits

  • The school ordered an incorrect quantity

15. CUSTOMIZED KIT — MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT

Customized Pre-School Kits are subject to a minimum order requirement of:

5 Sets Per Class

The minimum requirement applies separately to each selected class.

Examples:

5 Toddlers Kits + 5 Playgroup Kits
✓ Eligible

10 Toddlers Kits + 15 Playgroup Kits
✓ Eligible

3 Toddlers Kits + 7 Playgroup Kits
✕ Not eligible because Toddlers is below the minimum requirement.

Schools may order different quantities for different classes, provided that each selected class meets the minimum requirement of 5 sets.

16. CUSTOMIZED KIT — DESIGN & APPROVAL

Before production, SS Creation Books may provide a design/proof for approval where applicable.

The school is responsible for carefully checking:

  • School Name

  • Logo

  • Spelling

  • Contact Details

  • Address

  • Class Information

  • Other customized information

Once the school approves the final design/proof and production begins, the order generally cannot be cancelled or refunded.

SS Creation Books will not be responsible for errors that were present in the approved design and were not reported by the school before production.

17. CUSTOMIZED KIT — DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

Although customized kits are generally non-returnable, SS Creation Books may consider a replacement where the delivered product is:

  • Materially defective due to a manufacturing issue

  • Incorrectly produced by SS Creation Books

  • Significantly different from the approved design due to an SS Creation Books error

  • Damaged during delivery, subject to verification

The school should notify SS Creation Books promptly after receiving the order.

After verification, SS Creation Books may provide a replacement or another appropriate resolution.

18. CUSTOMIZED PRE-SCHOOL KIT CONTENT

The exact contents of a Customized Pre-School Kit depend on the package selected by the school.

Depending on the selected package, the kit may include:

  • Preschool Books

  • Customized Book Covers

  • School Name

  • School Logo

  • Student Folder

  • ID Card

  • Diary

  • Name Slips

  • Worksheets

  • Other School Materials

Customized School Bag

A customized school bag may be available as an additional option and may carry an additional cost.

The exact contents will be based on the package/order confirmed by SS Creation Books.

19. COMPLETE SCHOOL GROWTH PLAN — REFUNDS

The Complete School Growth Plan may include a combination of:

  • Curriculum

  • Preschool Books

  • Teacher Resources

  • Worksheets

  • LMS

  • ERP

  • School Website

  • Digital Resources

  • Academic Support

  • Technical Support

Because the plan is structured according to the school's specific requirements, refund and cancellation conditions may vary depending on the services selected and the stage of implementation.

Specific refund and cancellation conditions may be stated in the school's:

  • Quotation

  • Invoice

  • Service Agreement

  • Order Confirmation

These specific terms will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. DIGITAL SERVICES — ERP, LMS & WEBSITE

Where the Complete School Growth Plan includes:

  • ERP

  • LMS

  • School Website

  • Digital Resources

  • Technical Services

refund eligibility may depend on whether implementation, configuration, development, setup or onboarding has already commenced.

Once significant implementation or development has commenced, the applicable service may become non-refundable, subject to the specific service agreement and applicable law.

Third-party platform, hosting, domain, software or other charges already incurred may also be non-refundable.

21. ACADEMIC SERVICES & SUPPORT

Academic services such as:

  • Curriculum support

  • Academic planning

  • Teacher guidance

  • Training

  • Consultation

  • Implementation support

may become non-refundable once the agreed service has been delivered or substantially commenced.

Specific terms may be provided in the school's quotation or service agreement.

22. CANCELLATION

Standard Pre-School Books

Cancellation may be considered before the order enters processing, packing or dispatch.

Once the order has been processed, packed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

However, eligible unused books may still qualify for the two-month unsold-book return facility described in this policy.

Customized Pre-School Kits

Cancellation may not be possible once:

  • Design approval has been provided

  • Production has commenced

  • Printing has commenced

  • Customization has commenced

  • Materials have been specifically procured

Complete School Growth Plan

Cancellation will be subject to the applicable quotation, service agreement and implementation stage.

23. REFUND EXCLUSIONS

Except where required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by SS Creation Books, refunds will generally not be provided for:

  • Customized products after customization/production has commenced

  • Customized kits below or outside applicable order conditions

  • Books returned after the two-month unsold-book return period

  • Used or damaged books

  • Books containing writing, markings or alterations

  • Change of mind outside the applicable return facility

  • Services already delivered

  • Digital services already implemented

  • Third-party services or costs already incurred

  • Incorrect customization information supplied or approved by the school

24. REFUND PROCESSING TIME

Once a return has been received and approved, SS Creation Books will initiate the applicable refund or account credit.

The actual time required for the refund to appear may depend on:

  • Payment gateway

  • Bank

  • Financial institution

  • Payment method

  • Internal verification

  • Processing time

SS Creation Books will make reasonable efforts to process approved refunds within the applicable processing period.

25. ORDERING THROUGH SCHOOL ACCOUNT

All eligible returns and refunds should be initiated using the school's authorized SS Creation School Account wherever the online facility is available.

The school may be able to view:

  • Order History

  • Order Date

  • Products Purchased

  • Quantities

  • Return Eligibility

  • Return Window

  • Return Request Status

  • Refund/Account Credit Status

SS Creation Books may use the School Account records to verify eligibility.

26. SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITY

Schools are responsible for carefully reviewing their order before submission.

Before placing an order, the school should verify:

For Pre-School Books, schools should estimate their expected requirements carefully while taking advantage of the eligible two-month unsold-book return facility.

For Customized Kits, schools should carefully confirm quantities because customized kits are subject to a minimum of 5 sets per class and are generally non-returnable after customization or production begins.

27. IMPORTANT CUSTOMIZED KIT NOTICE

CUSTOMIZED KITS ARE MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR SCHOOL.

Minimum Order: 5 Sets Per Class

Customized kits are prepared according to the school's selected class, quantity and branding.

Once customization or production has commenced, cancellation, return or refund will generally not be available except in cases of verified manufacturing/fulfillment errors or where otherwise required by applicable law.

28. IMPORTANT PRE-SCHOOL BOOK RETURN NOTICE

ORDER WITH CONFIDENCE.

For standard, non-customized Pre-School Books, schools may return eligible unsold books within 2 months from the delivery date.

Example:

20 Books Ordered
15 Books Sold/Distributed
5 Books Remaining Unsold

→ The school may request the return of the 5 eligible unsold books.

Returned books must be unused, undamaged and in resalable condition and must satisfy the other conditions of this policy.

The return request must be initiated through the school's authorized SS Creation Account within the applicable two-month period.

29. POLICY CHANGES

SS Creation Books may update this Return & Refund Policy from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the website with the revised effective date.

Changes will not affect confirmed orders except where required by applicable law or specifically agreed with the school.
